How long does it take for Texas State to get back to you? ›

Decision Timeline

Admission decisions for programs admitting on a "rolling" basis will follow within 4-6 weeks from the time all application materials have been received. If the program has a firm deadline, the admissions committee may wait until after the program deadline has passed to review eligible applications.

When entering your Texas State email address, use this format: yourNetID@txstate.edu (e.g., zzz99@txstate.edu). Do not use your email alias (e.g.,bokobobcat@txstate.edu).

Above average academic achievement is demonstrated by means of class rank (i.e. being ranked by your school in the top half of the class) or have a grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0. Applications must also have an education equivalent to that of a U.S. high school graduate.

If you want to get in, the first thing to look at is the acceptance rate. This tells you how competitive the school is and how serious their requirements are. The acceptance rate at Texas State is 87.7%. For every 100 applicants, 88 are admitted.

How do I submit my transcript to Txst? ›

Transcripts must be sent directly from the university or college attended, via USPS or secure electronic delivery, or submitted in a sealed university envelope with the University Registrar's signature on the back of the envelope in order to be considered "official".

Your NetID is made up of random letters and numbers (there may also be an underscore, ex: d_b123, or db123), and you use it to access services like Canvas, Catsweb, or library databases. This would also be your TXST email when adding txstate.edu to the end: d_b123@txstate.edu, or db123@txstate.edu.

Your NetID is the primary account credential used to access web-based university systems such as email, Blackboard, and others. Your email address is your NetID.

When will I receive my admission decision? For summer/fall enrollment, you will receive an admission notification by mid/late-June. For spring enrollment, you will receive a decision by mid December.

Federal timeliness standards require that non-expedited SNAP applications be processed within 30 days.

With most routes being at least 8 hours, you're going to want to take a few rest stops too. The traffic in Texas can be especially busy if you're taking one of the more popular routes, like the southern route across the state.
