3 years to this email and the opportunity that changed everything for me! 🪄7th September 2020, I started working with Ankur Warikoo and became a part of wariCrew :')This opportunity is not just my first biggest design gig, but something that has taught me and still teaches me life. Reflecting back, I'm grateful for everything wariCrew has given me. 1) I learnt to trust.Trust me, trust people, trust processes, and literally everything that is happening to me.2) The courage to make mistakes and to own upto them. To fail and still show up each time without any excuses.3) The realization that I can meaningfully tick things off from my bucket list while working, and doing everything that I want. 4) The reflection of "fix me, fix my world".5) Got introduced to the importance of processes and routines, both at work and in life. 6) The ability to constantly question my beliefs and to resist the obvious. 7) And the most precious one, the mindset to keep discovering and exploring the world, and through that my own self. Ankur Warikoo, thank you for this opportunity and everything that you do for wariCrew :))We're grateful to have you!!

Power of OneThank you my Carro Thailand team for the February performance, I appreciate your good teamwork, energy and efforts. Great things in business are never done by one person, they are done by a team of people who focus on the same mission. What I like most about the retail business is the month end closing when I can see all team members start to push the team, we can feel the energy flows and the adrenaline rush. Some with happy faces and smiling and some with sad faces and droopy eyes, maybe still short of one unit to hit the target. My personal advice to my team this month, learn from the mistakes and think about the Power Of One.Think about the extra one thing that can move the needle from bad to good and from good to excellent. If we had only done that one more thing that will make big improvement to our performance. If I sell one more…If I contact one more prospect every day..If I create one more posting in social media..If I completed the document one day earlier..If I buyin one more stock everyday…If I created one more ticket everyday..and Many more…..This is what I call Power Of One, the one extra thing that can make big impact to the performance. The extra one effort will be the key to make all the difference, extra minute when you talk to customers, extra kindness you provide to your clients, extra phone call you answered, extra ticket that you contact, the list is endless but the different is infinite. If you want to be the best, then the power of one is the distinguishing factor between good and excellent. All the best and let us together make March to be Excellent.

This time of year is particularly rough for me. As a high powered woman leader with the hustle and bustle of the holidays, four children, each with their own activities, needs, and agendas, it is easy to lose a sense of identity, a sense of joy, a sense of meaning and purpose. However, as I was closing out a project with one of my clients with whom I have partnered with all year, I felt a sense of loss and also a sense of gratitude. I learned that through 'servicing' others, my meaning and purpose is amplified. In 2023, my focus was to work on 'letting-go' of things that were completely out of my control and didn't serve a purpose. In 2024, my focus will be on feverishly sharing my gift of service to help others find meaning and purpose in their lives.Post in the comments or DM me if you’d like to learn more about my journey and how I can be of service to you, your teams, or your organization. #meaningfulwork #meaningfullife #focusonwhatmatters #womenempowerment #leadershipskills #empathy #mattering #servantleadership

Ravi Garg my friend from, the Executive Leadership program by Rakesh Rana♟️ has posted a wonderful article on being grateful. I just wanted to add another point through #friendship to remain Grateful and practice gratitude. The circle of good friendship is so strong that one can only remain grateful throughout lifetime. It has immense power to amplify the positivity quotient surpassing all useless thoughts. To quote an example, a meetup of college Alumni after 2 decades evoked fun and painful events of adventurous college days. Surfing though these conversations an AAHA moment surfaced when one of us explained about his Forgive and Forget (that persona) practice to all unexpected, unpleasant events and people. The benefits of such experiences cannot be underestimated in a friend circle and I must remain grateful on this circle of everlasting strengths. Ask this to self, if I remain grateful to all those friends who have seen you, taken care of you, challenged you, referred to you to jobs, promotions, contacts for business growth, even help you get to your partner, list goes on...IF they wronged you, IF they don't respond, don't let your mind flushed up with doubts or grudges. Instead Forgive them and Disassociate the person from that #persona. We cannot know what was going through in their minds. But appreciate that human mind just "wants " thoughts" to be addressed and can take a shortcut to get that processing of thought. When you do this sort of gratitude practice, your mind shall choose to empty the unpleasant thoughts and help builds up a stringer the circle of control, impact and Influence. Its TRUST. And we can remain grateful for that in a lifetime. Thanks to Vishal Jain Krishna Prasad T G Gaurav Bansal Amit Pal for the friendship circle.

When an employee leaves their workplace, it could be for various reasons. Often, it's about finding better opportunities or feeling unsatisfied with their role or boss. Yet, when it comes to acknowledging the higher-ups, especially in big institutions like IE Networks, these departures might not always tell the full story. Here's the thing—leadership isn't just about fitting into a company. It's about guiding employees to achieve their dreams by honing their leadership skills. So, instead of solely shaping them to fit your institution, why not lead them to success? Here's to fostering leadership and growth! And a special salute to Mr. Meried Bekele, CEO of IE Network Solutions, for leading the way! #leadership

LinkedIn kindly reminded me that I’ve spent 10 years at Killem Pest Pte Ltd; 7.5 of those as Managing Director. There was no succession planning and I never thought that I would be running an established business in my mid-twenties, but… life is full of surprises! There are a lot of lessons I've learned in the last decade. Some of my key takeaways are: 1. Being thrown into the deep end at work is an unparalleled learning opportunity. Nothing really prepares you for it and you will make mistakes. I made a lot of them, I still do. That is part of being human, and that is part of the lifelong journey of learning.2. Work hard. Know your business processes inside out, and lead by example.3.You must take charge and invest in your own professional development. By being self-employed, no one is forcing me to take further professional qualifications or attend training. But as Managing Director / CEO, it is my responsibility to drive strategy and growth, or to come up with new ideas or processes. I can only do that if I have the skills to do so, and some skills need to be learnt in a classroom setting.4. When networking, connect with people not because you see ‘benefit’ in a relationship but because you have something in common – whether it is a love of netball or because you are both facing the same challenge at work. 5. There are always ups and downs in a business, just like in life. I choose to see the light in every situation. 6. Hire a competent project manager for any big business changes that you want to implement. You can do it yourself, but it becomes a full-time job; taking you away from other areas of the business that you should be focusing on. 7. It's very easy to get distracted. There are so many things that can be changed, updated, and improved; but you can't do them all at the same time, and that’s ok. 8. Everyone has an opinion and is trying (mostly with good intentions) to tell you what or how to do something. Have conviction, don’t doubt, or question your decisions (much easier said than done). Even if you make the wrong decision, treat it as another lesson learnt. To everyone who has been on this professional journey with me, thank you! 😊
